I've been encouraged into the world of blogging by a friend and work colleague who's developing a great flair for photography and is having a lot of fun posting them online - so much so that I wanted to have a go too. I've recently upgraded my camera and this seems a great way of sharing pictures with friends as well as (hopefully) getting some useful feedback about my photography too.
I can't promise a lot of words, but hopefully I'll be able to share one or two decent pictures, so let's see how it goes... This is my first effort. I've just splashed out on a new 60mm macro lens and couldn't wait to try it out - so much so that I didn't even leave the desk! Getting used to the narrow depth of field will take a while, but nevertheless I'm quite pleased with this for now:
