A day of leisure

This is better - a day where we could relax and take it easy.

Had a stroll in the hotel grounds in the morning and took a few snaps of the snowdrops and daffodils (should they be out yet?). Later on we'd both booked in for a massage at the hotel's leisure club, which was a great way to unwind.

In the afternoon we visited Chester city centre for a stroll about and a little shopping. Chester's one of those historical cities that's well worth a visit.

In the evening we'd spotted a cheap and cheerful pub a little further down the road from the hotel, so rather than chance it in the hotel restaurant again we chose good old fashioned pub grub instead - the service was much better at only a fraction of the price!
