Dad's been counting down to his birthday all year - not because he's been looking forward to being a year older, but because he'll receive his first old age pension payment.Although his birthday is actually on Monday, we'd arranged to hold a party for him with friends and family over the weekend, so that everyone could get together and celebrate with him.
The weather was great, allowing us to use the garden as well as indoors, so there was room for everyone to mingle and catch up with each other, and with plenty to eat and drink, we all had a good time.Thanks to all for making the day a special event!
