Catching up with Bev and Paul

We don't often get the chance to visit Bev and Paul, who live in Winterley near Sandbach, but a few weeks ago we were able to set aside some time in our diaries to catch up. While we waited for Paul to come home from work, Bev took us to visit Wheelock Hall farm, just round the corner from their house.

The piglets eating our carrots
We broke off small pieces of carrot for the piglets. They seemed to enjoy eating them!

The farm houses a number of animals which the public can go and see, and even feed, together with a children's play area and a farm shop, which sells local produce and home made cakes. Bev bought a bag of carrots for the pigs and goats to eat as well as a couple of apples for the horses, and we had a pleasant time sharing our food out with the animals.

Bev's apples didn't last long!!

Returning back to the house, it wasn't long before Paul arrived home, and we had an enjoyable evening with a nice meal, plenty of wine and lots of good banter.
