The en-suite's all finished but it's made the bedroom look out of place, so our next project is to decorate by painting the walls and woodwork and then seeing if I can remember how to wallpaper.
But first we need to empty the room - and moving Carole's wardrobes isn't straightforward once we've seen how many pairs of shoes she has!
