Skip soon made herself at home and was no trouble whatsoever, leaving us to enjoy a relaxing meal, plenty of laughs and a few games.
Erin first realised something was up the following morning, when she was on the garden fence as Skip came bounding out of the back door, completely oblivious to her. It was enough for Erin to think twice about paying us a visit, at least for the time being.Unfortunately the weather, after being cold and dry for so long, finally turned and the rain spoiled our plans for a walk before they had to leave. Nevertheless we'd had an enjoyable weekend with good company. It reminded us we should do this more often.
As for photos, strangely, despite being keen photographers, neither of us took any pictures at all! The best I can do is this photo of a chrysanthemum, a single bloom from a large bunch of flowers Bev brought for Carole. Instead, here's a photo of Wibs and Bev taken at Claire and Steve's wedding just over a year ago:

I've seen your cheekiness about my team!! It's what you call timing. Up there to stay now.

ps why do you have word verification switched on?
Well there you go. I didn't know I had. Or what it was...
Anyway, word verification has been removed. Or displaced if you prefer. Just like United after tomorrow's Merseyside derby ;-)
