Showcasing the new kitchen

After two weeks of upheaval, our new kitchen is at last ready!  We've been using the services of Tom from local firm Kelamro, who has done a superb job for us all the way.  We heard about Tom from family friend and former neighbour Geoff, who helps Tom out on a casual basis from time to time - proof that when looking for a tradesman to do work for you then finding someone who comes recommended is far better than choosing someone from the Yellow Pages.


Kitchen completed!

Tom did most of the work in the first week, but some minor details couldn't be completed until this week, including the floor which was held up for a day or two as there wasn't quite enough flooring delivered at first.


Plenty room for cooking and baking!

Tom gave us a number of options for firms who supplied kitchen units, we were most impressed by Simon Allan at Clitheroe, who was happy to open his showrooms in the evenings for us, and gave us plenty of options without pushing anything onto us.

Now that everything's finished off, we can add in some of the extra details we've been looking out for over the past few weeks, such as a new toaster, kettle and coffee machine, all in a contrasting bright red.  There's no excuse now not to be able to cook!
